EXHIBIT: Daryl Royster Alexander
The Carnegie Heritage Center is pleased to spotlight the art of Daryl Royster Alexander at a special exhibition on view August 19-28th. Represented on Martha’s Vineyard by the Granary Gallery, Alexander’s bold and expressive paintings and sculpture draw upon history, memory, and the enduring strength of the African diaspora. Through vivid color, symbolism, and masterful portraiture, her work explores themes of identity, resilience, and freedom – continuing the Carnegie’s tradition of bringing together stories, art, and history through exhibitions that inspire curiosity, conversation, and connection.
