This historic post and beam hall is available to host your wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, private party or community event. The first floor, equipped with a commercial kitchen, accommodates 150 guests for a seated dinner with room for dancing.
If you’re planning a wedding reception with a more casual feel, the Grange Hall is the venue for you! Dressed up with checkered tablecloths, lobster pots and sunflowers, there’s no better place for your classic Vineyard clambake-style reception.
Choose white damask, roses, candles and crystal and the Hall transforms into a uniquely romantic venue for your wedding celebration. Fall weddings are especially fun for decorating with potted mums, pumpkins and even hay bales! The Grange is perfect for an Up-Island event with country flair.
The Grange Hall Theater is located on the second floor of the Grange Hall. The Upstairs Theater is the oldest performing arts venue on the Island with minstrel shows and community theater dating back to the mid-nineteenth century.
Fully accessible, the Upstairs Theater accommodates an audience of 125 (seating is provided). Equipped with theatrical stage lighting, a house sound system and upright piano, our Technical Director works with performers and promoters in advance to ensure a successful event.
We’ve hosted a long list of national and island musicians, speakers and panel discussions. The Upstairs Theater is an intimate venue, putting the audience truly in touch with the performers.
The Grange Hall’s downstairs Main Hall accommodates up to 150 guests for a seated dining event. Outfitted with a full commercial kitchen and ample restrooms, the Main Hall is a perfect complement to the Upstairs Theater: catered dinner downstairs followed by a concert or lecture upstairs – just one of many great options the venue offers!
The Grange Hall is a weather-proof, affordable venue for Performing Arts, Corporate, Community and Non-Profit events. It’s easy to find in the heart of West Tisbury; is on the Island’s public transit route and has plenty of parking.
